My Thoughts:

I have received this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Dale Bateman!                                                                                            This book is 14 pages long. Some might wonder how a book with only 14 pages could possibly be good. Well, let me tell you… In 14 short pages of the book Dale puts into words the life of a kid growing up in an alcoholics home and how it effects the kids life. Does the kid turn out to be an alcoholic as well? Is there hope for the kid? Those are answers you could find out if you just take the time to read the book. Nope I’m not giving spoilers. I do believe Dale portraits alcoholism is the right light. I can also relate to the story personally.

Final Thoughts:

Yes this book was short but it was well written and just as good as his first book Sex, Drugs, and the Dole. If you haven’t read any of Dale Bateman’s books please, please do. He is am amazing author with such a wonderful talent and he utilizes that talent so very well. Take the time to read his work you definitely won’t be disappointed!!
