I didn’t mean to hurt anyone, especially him…
I was living the dream. I had a great career as a romance author, a successful boyfriend, and am the daughter to a New York power couple. With my standing, my family groomed me to be perfect. Despite having it all, something was still missing.
In an attempt to break away from my privileged, suffocating life, I was in pursuit of finding my own path to happiness. After my literary agent gave me a risky writing assignment, I set out to write a best-seller that took me completely out of my comfort zone and into the arms of another man. He was only supposed to be a research toy, falling in love wasn’t a part of the plan. As I become tangled into a huge web of lies, I quickly find out that I have a life changing decision to make. Do I choose to continue living a life of comfort, stability, and misery or do I take a chance on the unknown to preserve my happiness?

~My Thoughts~

This book was amazing! I read the whole book in a matter of hours. 5 hours to be more precise because I just could NOT put this book down. This book just flowed so easily. Ahh I haven’t read a book that was that easy flowing in a little while. It was definitely a breath of fresh air. The main character Arianna is definitely a character I can relate to in ways. She is born into a wealthy family. Her mom is constantly on her about her weight and because of that Arianna has low self-esteem and doesn’t think very highly of herself. She wants to be a author but since that isn’t what her mother and father want for her because they see it as less then because they assume she can’t get rich by following her dream then she has to marry rich and has been ordered her to marry this guy named Julius. Neither Julius nor Arianna want to be married to each other but both are forced to other wise they both loss their inheritance. Neither of them can stand the other and environment in which they live I can only think to describe as unpleasant and sometimes hostile. Julius is hateful to Arianna but because she feels stuck she tries her best to ignore it. I asked myself several times through the book WHY, WHY ARE YOU STILL WITH THIS ASSHOLE!?! Of course there is a turn in events that comes next. It takes the form of a writing assignment given to her by her literary agent. Arianna is to write an erotica. Boy is she uncomfortable as would I be as well. But What starts off as an assignment with a very gorgeous, handsome “research” partner takes an unexpected turn. With the help of her “research” partner Zane will Arianna finally stand up to her family and risk losing all her wealth for love or will she end up marrying this prick of a guy Julius. I don’t want to give away any spoilers so from here if you want to know you will just have to pick up the book and read it. Trust me It is a VERY VERY VERY GOOD BOOK! I laughed, held my breath, oh my Goshed and even cried. Yes real tears streamed downed my face. It was wonderful!! I give this book every star that it has earned in my book. 5 wonderful, glorious, brightly shining stars!! I can’t wait for the next one! I am very eagerly waiting!!!

~My Interview with Victoria~

When did you know you wanted to be an author?

In all honesty, when I started writing in 8th grade, I didn’t want to be an author. I wanted to be like Harriet the Spy. Being an author sort of…happened, I guess. I filled notebooks on a regular basis, but it was never a dream or anything. I just decided to publish one day because I figured it would be good to put all of my stories to good use. The rest was history from there. I can’t see myself doing anything else!

Is there any other jobs you’ve wanted to have besides being an author?

There was plenty. First I wanted to be an obstetrician because I liked babies. Then I wanted to be a female programmer because they’re very rare in that male-dominated field. I once wanted to own my own all-star cheer gym since I’m obsessed with cheerleading.

Where do you get your inspiration?

I get it from everywhere! I pull things from conversations I have with friends, things I see on the Internet, dreams I have, or just from my daydreaming sessions. Inspiration is everywhere!

How long have you been writing?

Since the 8th grade. Well, can I really call that writing? I was actually writing down observations about my classmates and teachers and spying on people lol. But I did write short stories when I was bored and could no longer pay attention. So like…10 years or something. Man, that makes me sound a bit ancient!

How did you come about writing erotica? Is it because you love to read it?

Actually, I was talked into it. A friend of mine kept going on and on about how I should try writing one and yadda yadda yadda and wouldn’t leave me alone about it. I actually strayed away from it because I’m a bit prude (which could be hard to believe considering some of the things I write).

Did you purposely set out to write in the erotica genre?

I didn’t set out to write erotica. I only wanted to write romance and romance only. Erotica kind of just happened, but now it’s a part of me as well!

Have you written in any other genre or do you have interest in writing any other genre?

I’ve written romance before. I think I may want to try writing Young Adult, as I’m still a big fan of YA books!

Thanks you Victoria for your time in answering all these questions! It is greatly appreciated!

Author Bio:

Victoria Bright is from a small town in North Carolina and
currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina. She has been writing since she
was in the eighth grade, starting with small short stories. As her classmates
began showing interest in her work, she began to write longer stories, filling
multiple spiral notebooks with her thoughts. During her freshman year in high
school, her English teacher encouraged her to enter a writing contest in which
she won local, region and state levels. She has entered many writing contests
since and have won a few. Figuring out she had a passion to share stories with
anyone who would listen, she set out to write her first book Love Unbroken.

Victoria is very versatile in the genre of books she likes to
read. Her bookchoice mostly varies on her mood, but she is particularly
interested in crime stories, romance, teen fiction, sci-fi, and is now
venturing a little in paranormal fiction. As for her own writing, she doesn’t
really put it into a category or genre. She just writes whatever is on her mind
and lets it create itself!
