One Demon.

One Angel.

One Soul.

Josh lived a reckless, selfish life, so upon his death, escaping the eternal
torments of Hell by assuming the role of a powerful, soul-corrupting
demon is an easy choice. His first soul assignment doesn’t seem too hard:
the mortal Camden is already obsessed with weapons, pain, and torture.
If only Josh wasn’t distracted by Cam’s beautiful friend, Grace.

Grace never expected to die violently at age sixteen, but now she’s an
Angel, responsible for saving a soul. She can already see past Camden’s
earthly flaws, so the job should be be easy. If only that handsome,
playboy Josh would stop getting in the way.

It’s forbidden for an Angel to be with a Demon, so if Josh and Grace stop
resisting each other, the results would be disastrous.

And only one can claim Cam’s soul.

~My Thoughts~

This book for me started off Good. I was enjoying it but somewhere along the line it started to drag me down. I can’t place it all on one thing in particular it’s more of several small things. The jumping back and forth every chapter between Josh and Grace was good. In fact a part of me really enjoyed it because I like to get the different perspectives on thing and this was giving me both the angels side of it and the demons side of it but I think after a while I started getting worn out. I had to switch to the other perspective after just switching over. I feel it would have been better had the time in between switching perspectives was longer. The Pacing was good at first but through having to switch persons so often I think the pacing became choppy and therefore threw me off more. It was rough. In fact I started to not want to read because I just didn’t think I could do it. I have read 70% of the book. I do plan on finishing especially since I only have 30% left but I have to put it down for at least a little bit. Start reading something else. I do like this story though. I love stories about angels and demons fighting around us or walking on earth interacting with us, guiding us. So this is definitely a story that I will finish. I just feel if it wasn’t so choppy and wouldn’t be so jumpy between the two main Characters then it would definitely be better. If you have had your eye on this book debating I would say go for it. The story itself is really good and interesting and I would love to hear your opinion on it. If you have read it what did you think? Let me know!
