Kricket Hollowell is normally not one to wish upon stars; she believes they’re rarely in her favor. Well versed at dodging caseworkers from Chicago’s foster care system, the past few years on her own have made Kricket an expert at the art of survival and blending in. With her 18th birthday fast approaching, she dreams of the day when she can stop running and find what her heart needs most: a home.

Trey Allairis hates Earth and doubts that anyone from his world can thrive here. What he’s learning of Kricket and her existence away from her true home only confirms his theory. But, when he and Kricket lie together under the stars of Ethar, counting them all may be easier than letting her go.

Kyon Ensin’s secrets number the stars; he knows more about Kricket’s gifts than anyone and plans to possess her because of them. He also knows she’s more valuable than any fire in the night sky. He’ll move the heavens and align them all in order to make her his own.

When everything in their world can be broken, will Kricket rely upon love to save her under different stars?

~My Thoughts~

WOW!! So many emotions! I was scared, anxious, happy, sad. I laughed literally out loud and I cried!! It was awesome! So many twists and turns and surprises! A crazy, non-stop adventure! I started reading this book and couldn’t put it down. I literally spent all day reading, I couldn’t stop turning the pages. I didn’t even want it to end. I just wanted it to keep going. I know as soon as the next book comes out in March I am getting it. Yes I am!

What’s awesome about this book is Kricket is strong-willed and smart. The way she portrays herself is amazing. I wish I had the confidence that she has in herself. I mean seriously through the entire book I only remember her doubting or thinking less of her self less then a handful of times. Other then that she is strong. In her words she is a chameleon she can adapt. She awes me. Her is a leader and we need more leaders like her in this world. Granted I know her being in a book is not in our world that doesn’t change the simple truth of we need more like her.

Trey… Man talk about a book with a love story in it but not instalove and I love that about this book. I loved to watch their story unfold with the book. It was none of that love and first sight books no no none of that. It started of as nothing and then slowly evolve and to be honest I was hoping that was going to happen from the beginning and then yes yes it slowly slowly did! It was great!!!!

I just really really enjoyed this book. Please everyone at least try to read this book. It was just amazing!!
