About The Gathering Darkness:

They say “third time’s the charm,” and for sixteen-year-old Brooke Day, they had better be right. She’s been here before, twice in fact, and so has the darkness awaiting her return.

When Brooke is forced to leave Boston for the village of Deadwich, she thinks her life is over. New friends become estranged—downright evil. But worse, recurring nightmares become reality.

Enter Marcus Knight; he’s popular, hot, and the only person Brooke can trust.

Not to mention, they’ve shared the same nightmares.

With the discovery of an ancient Celtic amulet, Brooke and Marcus unravel the secrets of her past, revealing the path to her future.

As the equinox approaches, darkness and light merge for the first time in a century. Soul-mates reunite. Magic awakens.

~My Thoughts~

Can I just say Wow! I so very much loved this book. I wasn’t too sure what to think before starting the book so I had no expectations or pre-perceived notion of what it would be like and I very much enjoyed every bit of it. Something that I know I haven’t read at least lately if not ever is a book with reincarnation in it. To finally view someone else’s view on what they think reincarnation is like. Then not to mention the witch factor. I love a good story about witches and magic. Then last but not least the love story behind it. It’s like a different version with twists of Romeo and Juliet. Soul-mates that fight not in one or two lifetimes but in three lifetimes to try to be together, all the prior attempts being failed only to be born again to try again. How many times does it take for the two soul mates so passionately in love each time they lay eyes on each other to finally succeed in gaining more then 16 years of life. So they can finally grow older together until they are gray-haired and watching their grandchildren laugh and play? Read the book to find out. Read to see the obstacles in which they fight their way to be able to do that. What will they sacrifice, what will be enough?? Please just read because I can’t say to much.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             I give this book 5 Stars!!!!

When I can be reading a book before bed and once asleep dream about it as well. Only to wake up having to pick it back up to finish it because I just can’t get enough until it finally and sadly comes to an end definitely gets 5 stars from me!! I urge everyone to read this book. I just can’t explain how awesome it is. It’s one of those you just have to experience the awesomeness in order to understand what my words are failing to portray. Thank you Lisa Collicutt for this amazing read!!! I hope you plan to (if you aren’t already) write another book because I can guarantee you at least one reader, ME!!!! So as I have already previously stated you should read this book!! It’s amazing!!! Thank you for allowing me the privilege of reading this book. It’s an honor!!
